Let's Talk Unity Consciousness
The mind is a machine. It likes to make sense of things. If something does not make logical, linear sense, the mind is apt to reject it. The heart on the other hand, is the seat of the soul. The soul is an infinite and ever-expanding energy of love and Light. The soul knows truth. The soul knows how to discern that which it resonates with, and that which it does not.
Herein lies the split between the psyche of emotions and thoughts - between the soul and the mind. The mind goes into resistance and projecting or blaming; the soul - open, allowing, expanding and flowing. Unfortunately in our society and the enculturation of the collective, we have been conditioned to think that the mind is king. And this programming starts from early childhood and through our formative school years. That process of indoctrination creates and cements in division, burying unity consciousness; and inhibits for the most part the recognition that soul, Spirit, the inner senses of intuition are actually key to who we are, and how we are to function and spread our creative Light in this realm.
Paramahansa Yogananda would refer to the ego mind as the evil emperor - hard at work to keep his place on the throne - in truth, the rightful seat of the soul. Ultimately our work is to unseat the ego - that evil emperor, that keeps us rapped up in our thoughts and our minds trying to figure things out in life. Only to find ourselves running circles that spiral into that deeper abyss of confusion and dead-end alleys. Only to block us from seeing and being able to discern truths, even if it stares us right in the face.
We only have to witness what is transpiring on the planet regarding the split in consciousness amongst peoples and their choices in their respective communities. This division mirrors the split of the individual psyche that plays out in the collective. Unhealed and split off shadow parts play havoc with people projecting their unfinished emotional business at others, simply because they have not taken self-responsibility to complete their personal shadow work. That very important work facilitates us to become fully and completely connected with our heart. Bringing forth our soul to assume her rightful place on the divine throne of unconditional love and unity consciousness.
United we stand. Divided we fall. What is it going to take for people to drop their judgements of self and each other? What is it going to take for people to let go of the false attachments to the preconditioned mind as the ultimate reality. It is not. The ego mind is 1% of who we are. The soul is 99% of who we are. Lifetime after lifetime we have journeyed further away from that remembrance.
Well, the good news is that we are here now in a pivotal place of remembrance. As we witness outer world events, and especially these past couple of years, the Light impels us - actually pushing us to face ourselves, and to decide how we choose to live. Either we continue living in the chaos that separates us, and keeps us split from our soul; or we wake up and come to full remembrance of our true origins and purpose. To remember that we are far more than we have been led to believe. We can then reunite with that greatest part of ourselves - our soul or Highest Self. And see others as a true Light-filled reflection of ourselves.
Now is the time to be unconditionally loving despite difference of opinions, thoughts, feelings, actions and choices. Life is like a simulation - just as the holodeck in Star Trek. We can choose to play and experience any role we wish to experience and learn from. The invitation goes out to come to a place of unity from the inside out first and foremost. Witness how the outer world will miraculously change as a result. Know that your soul is patient and continues to prompt you to restore her to her rightful throne as Queen of your personal domain and sovereignty.
As more of us continue to drop the fear and awaken to see the illusion of events on the world stage that we actually chose to experience, the sooner this chaos will dissipate. It has no power over the unconditional love that we choose to live by. United we stand!
