You Are ~ The Innocence of Your Inner Child

Updated: Jun 22, 2021

"The innocence of children is their wisdom, the simplicity of children is their agelessness. The freshness of the child is the freshness of your consciousness, which never becomes old, which always remains young." Rajneesh.

AZ Quotes

How do you connect to that part of yourself that is so long buried deep inside a wounded closed heart? Just watch the children. Observe their vitality for life; their sense of pure unadulterated joy. Feel in to their innocence and trust of a higher reality of unconditional love radiating out from the depths of their hearts. You can see it in their eyes. You hear it in their laughter. You witness it through the curiosity of their ever-exploring minds. You can participate with them in their wildest, most imaginative plays and realities. For them there is no one reality. They live the living life in many realities. They are the closest to remembering their true divine nature and joy. Their energies are pure and unadulterated.

Somewhere deep inside ourselves there are inner children longing to be taken notice of. Long to emerge from being buried in a morass, a dark stew of sadness, angers and fear. They long to be seen, heard, loved, held, encouraged, appreciated, acknowledged, embraced and allowed - allowed to just be themselves.

Herein lies the healing of many layers of the unconscious shadow monsters. Breathe, witness, desire and intend - to emulate the children you see around you. Give yourself permission to experience their spontaneity. We are really all children in grown-up bodies. Be like them. Just do it!

Rekindle that flame of trust, truth, purity, curiosity, innocence, joy, unconditional love, grace, forgiveness and the desire to play. What's that Sankrit word for play? Lila! Yes Lila ~ play!

Remember, children are divine beings here to teach us adults how to return to that natural state of being the divine and wholly love you are and were created to be. Be that now.
